Summary本文試圖透過分析比較的研究方法，以「中國圖書館學會」和「澳洲圖書館與資訊學會」為對象，來探討在不同國家內的圖書館學會之發展情形。主要比較範圍以兩學會的組織體系與會員類型為主，第一部分先對這兩個學會作一概略的介紹，包括成立緣起、宗旨、組織體系與會員類型等方面，第二部分則進行兩個學會的組織體系與會員類型的比較，以說明兩學會在這兩個方面的異同與形成差異的可能因素。;Through the comparison between Australian Library and Information Association and Library Association of China, this article aims to understand the development of different types of library associations in different countries. Firstly, this article introduces the development, objects, organizational structures and member categories of these two library associations. Secondly, by using comparative method, this article tries to find out the difference and similarity of the organizational structure and member category between them. The factors which cause these differences and similarity are also examined.
